ANNUAL CELEBRATIONS REACH MORE THAN 400 PEOPLE!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our two Annual Celebrations -- one at the Sheraton Wilmington South and one at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino.
Guests included partners from the nonprofit, public, corporate and faith-based sectors, in addition to some Delawareans who shared their stories about how UWD programs directly benefitted their lives.
The theme of the events was “Come to Connect. Leave United.” The event highlighted by performances by “Never the Same,” a choir from Calvary Baptist Church. Guests signed a “Declaration of Connectivity,” pledging to Give, Advocate and Volunteer.
“When we come together, that’s when we can truly make a difference in our community,” says Michelle A. Taylor, President and Chief Executive Officer of United Way of Delaware. “That’s what we were trying to show with this event. We look forward to advancing our work in the areas of Education, Income and Health with your continued partnership.”
