Days of Caring

Employees from Trinity Transport help beautify the look of things at the National Alliance for Mental Illness in Delaware. Throughout its annual campaign, United Way of Delaware coordinates Days of Caring projects at its member agencies. Groups of employees from companies and organizations participating in United Way’s annual campaign join forces to tackle hands-on projects, including painting, gardening, cleaning, and other tasks that many of our agencies desperately need completed but cannot afford to hire someone to do.

Other examples of Days of Caring activities include: reading to children, sponsoring a field trip with agency clients, and serving meals at an agency location.
