Leadership Giving Program

For more than 60 years, United Way of Delaware's ability to remain strong and meet the growing needs of our community has depended on the generosity and foresight of a dedicated group of community leaders who believe in its mission.

The Leadership Giving Program’s purpose is to encourage gifts of $500 or more to United Way’s Community Impact Fund or Strategic Focus Areas.  The Community Impact Fund is our primary means for engaging Delawareans who want to support our state’s most effective health and human service programs. 

Through recognition and special events, the Leadership Giving Program recognizes those philanthropic stewards whose leadership, service, and devotion to United Way of Delaware have inspired them to become active investors in our community.

Leadership Giving Levels:

• Community Investor                                      $500-$999
• Community Partner                                       $1,000-$2,499
• Community Leader                                       $2,500-$4,999
• Community Director                                      $5,000-$9,999
  (Eligible for UWD’s Tocqueville Society Match Program)
• Community Champion                                  $10,000+
  (Eligible for UWD’s Tocqueville Society)
