Every year, individuals throughout Delaware make a big impact on the lives of their neighbors by contributing to United Way of Delaware’s annual fundraising campaign. In fact, our United Way has been recognized nationally for its exceptionally high rate of giving among Delawareans. And because of your kindness, United Way has affected some amazing and positives changes right here in the First State.
But did you know that United Way’s work extends far beyond the fall campaign season?
Each day, 365 days a year, Delawareans from all walks of life benefit from programs made possible by investments from generous United Way donors like you. Without the company employees and the general public who choose to give through United Way, Delaware would be a very different place to live.
Because of your contributions in the past year…
- 1,700 women with high risk pregnancies received prenatal care
- 4,000 children attended preschool programs
- 41,600 people received preventive health care education, substance abuse treatment, respite care, and patient support services
- 27,500 young people attended youth development programs

…because no one person or single agency could achieve results like this. By combining the charitable giving of Delawareans and investing those dollars in our network of Community Impact-funded agencies with proven results, United Way is able to do so much more.
