They say money talks. But so do voices. Get informed about the needs in your community. Talk to friends, family, and colleagues. Write letters to the editor and to your local and national officials. Blog about your beliefs and the actions you take to support them.
You don't have to be famous or connected to influence others. Just be passionate, committed and willing to stand behind your message.
